Read 1 Peter 4:7–11. Notice how prayer, love, hospitality and service belong together.

Understand the context

Peter calls believers to use their gifts to serve one another as stewards of God’s grace. Speaking and serving should depend on God’s provision and bring glory to Him through Jesus Christ.

Reflect

What ability, time or resource could you offer someone? How can you practise hospitality without grumbling? Does the way you serve make room for the other person’s dignity and choices?

Put faith into practice

Offer one specific act of service this week: help someone learn, prepare a meal, visit someone lonely, or assist a neighbour with a task. Keep your commitment manageable and follow through.

Pray

Lord, thank You for what You have entrusted to me. Show me a useful way to serve, and help me do it with humility, love and care. Amen.
